Bedamati Majhi, born and brought up in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has completed her Master's in Print Making from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, in the year 2021 and prior to that completed her Bachelor's from B.K College of Art and Craft from the department of Painting in the year 2017. From the beginning, she works were inspired from the surrounding through different forms like images of abandoned entities. To her, works are informed by atmospheres and environments that operate on a personal and a larger scale. She explores the varying forms of associations that objects are capable of forming, as well as the shifting arrangements of space around them..
