Vipul Prajapati is born and brought up in Ahmedabad. He studied painting from Sheth C N College of Fine Arts. He got his first State Lalit Kala award as a student in year 2005. In 2008 and 2009 his work got national recognition. In 2016 he won the National Lalit Kala Akademi award for his drawing. Later that the year, Vipul also won the most prestigious international award, The Jackson Pollock’s Pollock and Kransner award. He strongly believes in what Anslem Kiefer said, “Art is Longing, you never arrive but you keep going in the hope that you will.”
