Primarily my art education began very much at home, as it was since childhood I was surrounded with pieces of textiles, colorful threads and sound of the sewing machine constantly in our household, which had already created a backdrop for the Art Journey I began. Growing up in a very serene rural town of Gujarat, initially I studied at B. A. Mehta Kala Maha Vidhyalaya Amalsad, where I completed my Diploma in Fine Arts (Drawing and Painting) and also Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2018. During this time, I was initiated with making realistic drawings, landscapes and portraits. Being trained and tailored to creative and academic drawing, I found my practice rooted on Portrait drawing. Later when I moved to Baroda, I found my practice took a bewildering turn and I re-connected to the textile medium I used to play with in childhood. I graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda with a Post Diploma in Painting in 2020. It is since then, I have been working towards two genres of thread work on textiles and portraits, and also exploring realm of landscapes through thread work. Having a keen interest to revive the traditional weaving patterns, I did internship learning embroidery, where I gained the skills and knowledge of thread work.

I have been fortunate to be a part of many group exhibitions right after college, some of them being, 'Embark - IV & V ' at The Art Foundation, Baroda.2023 "Sonder"brought to by Vis-a-vis art Studio & gallery, kochi (during kochi biennale), 2023 “Separation”, Group exhibition at Faculty of Fine Arts, vadodara, 2022, Goa Affordable Art Fest, 2019, Bombay Art Society 2018 and kala Pratishthan, Surat 2015. As many art events happened digitally during Covid waves, my art works were also exhibited digitally on various platforms such as Platform2b Live Art Events - 2020, Space 118 -Masters show – 2020, The Environments Situation Room -A Feature By the kala Chupal trust, 2020.
