Artist's Biography

Nirali Lal’s practice as a painter goes beyond the limits of observation, creating fantasies in both oils and watercolors. As she also writes poetry, her paintings could be described as a tapestry of words. Nirali has attained her Master’s degree in Art Criticism from M.S.U., Baroda in 2000. And had completed her Bachelor’s in Painting from Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore in 1998. She has participated in a number of group exhibitions in India and abroad. Recently in March, 2025 , she had her solo exhibition titled 'Feed Me Colour’ curated by Bhooma Padmanabhan at the Devraj Urs Gallery, Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore
