Pankaj Vishwakarma

Artist's Biography

Pankaj Vishwakarma (born 1986 in Azamgarh, UP) is a Vadodara-based artist. He received his MVA in Printmaking (Gold Medal) and BVA in painting from M.S. University of Baroda in 2012 and 2009, respectively. Pankaj is the recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in New York for 2020-21. He participated in the Biennale, including the 3rd edition of Something Else at the Citadel in Cairo, Egypt in 2023 and the 13th Edition of the Bamako Encounters African Biennale of Photography in 2022 and He was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship in 2016-2017 by CCRT, New Delhi.
