Ketaki Sarpordar

Artist's Biography

Ketaki Sarpotdar is a contemporary visual artist based in Badlapur, Maharashtra. She holds a Post Diploma in Visual Art from M.S. University, Baroda (2018) and a Diploma in Fine Arts from L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai (2014). Her work explores themes of memory, identity, and socio-political narratives through printmaking and mixed media. She has exhibited widely across India and internationally, including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2022–23), India Art Fair, and shows in Germany, the Netherlands, and Romania. Ketaki has received several honors, including the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant (2024) and multiple awards during her academic journey. She has been an artist-in-residence at 1646 Experimental Art Space in The Hague and MAHE Humanities Center in Udupi. Her practice also includes publishing, talks, and collaborations, contributing actively to India’s contemporary art discourse. Currently she is continuing her practice from Vadodara.
