Pranoti Kapoor

Artist's Biography

Pranoti Malkute is a Vadodara-based artist and printmaker with a Master’s in Printmaking from M.S. University of Baroda (2018) and a Bachelor's in Painting from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune (2015). Her work uses the metaphor of decaying fruit to explore the stages of life, identity, and the condition of women in society. She has exhibited widely, including the 3rd Macao International Printmaking Triennial, Intaglio Mini Print Triennial (Kyiv), Pune Biennale, and Biennial de Gravure Mica-Timișoara. Her prints reflect on value, beauty, and temporality, often portraying the body as a site of transformation, decay, and social commentary.
