Purvi Mistry
Artist's Biography
Purvi Mistry was born in 1996 in Baroda, Gujarat. She completed her Bachelor's in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda in 2018 and went on to receive her Post-Graduation in Painting from the same institution in 2020. She has participated in several group exhibitions such as the BVA Degree Show (2018), The Environmental Situation Room by the Kala Chaupal Trust (2020), and Pink Iron II – All India Women’s Art Exhibition in Gurugram (2024). She has also been part of the SHAKTI All Women’s Art Camp at Samsaara Sanctuary, Himachal Pradesh (2020). Her solo exhibition “Live Figures” was showcased at Nippon Gallery, Mumbai in 2022. She was awarded the Young Artist Scholarship by the Ministry of HRD in 2019. Currently, she lives and works in Baroda.
