Along with drawing she attempts to inculcate and extend the possibility of using various materials in her practice. She frequently employees copper wire running stitches and weaves to highlight the visual narratives and also she interested in how this material can hold and translate the delicate layered quality of memory. The skill of copper wire weaving is what she has inherited from her grandfather coming from a family of goldsmith. Her practice focuses on imbuing objects and spaces with character, exploring themes of belonging, passage, absence and existence, while delving into histories and memories that shape present possibilities. Through drawing and weaving she whimsically interact with the ephemeral essence of recollections, navigating the profound realm of human experiences. By sorting through her own recollections and archived experiences, she delivers a nuanced exploration of loss and hope through reimagined environments, presenting a blend of subjective and objective perspectives that inform how we perceive and relate to memories, ultimately expressing a sense of self through the objects and spaces that hold these memories.
