Hiral Chaudhari
Artist's Biography
Hiralkumar Arunbhai Chaudhari (b. 1997, Isar, Gujarat) is an Indian visual artist whose practice spans from painting, printmaking to sculpture. He completed his Diploma in Applied Art from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad (2020) and pursued a Post Diploma in Printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda (2020–22). Chaudhari’s works often explore narratives of everyday life with a layered visual language that bridges tradition and contemporary concerns. He has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Gujarat Visual Artist Association Award (2017), Kala Ravi Trust Award (2017), and multiple honors from the Gujarat State Lalitkala Academy (2020, 2022). His solo exhibitions include Asitis at Apparao Galleries, New Delhi (2022) and Emigrant Stories of Mundane Life at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Ahmedabad (2023). He has participated in numerous group shows across India and has been part of residencies at Space Studio, Vadodara, and Vis-à-vis Studio & Gallery.
